Tyler Rainer, MD

MSHP Student

Tyler Rainer is a pediatric emergency medicine fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  She received her undergraduate degree at Williams College, then spent time working at The Rockefeller University, where she became interested in bioethics and community partnership. She received an MD from Temple University of School of Medicine, and completed pediatric training in the Urban Health and Advocacy Track of the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident. She is a Master’s in Science Health Policy Research and Certificate in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety student and plans to pursue a career focused on health equity, quality, and patient safety. She hopes help dismantle systemic inequities and proactively design more equitable systems to provide high value care in pediatric emergency medicine.
