Jane Muir PhD, RN is a nurse researcher interested in health economic evaluations of hospital work environments, the clinician workforce, and patient outcomes. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Virginia in 2021 with a dissertation focus on direct and indirect costs of nurse burnout. Her clinical experience is in the emergency department setting. She is currently finishing training to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
