Class of 2019
Ian Berger joined PennMSHP as a 4th year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Ian is originally from Franklin, Tennessee and obtained a BS in Biology with a minor in Public Health from the University of Georgia. Currently, he is a board member for the Agnew Free Surgical Clinic in West Philadelphia and captain of the Penn Med Soccer Team. During his time in medical school, Ian has been involved in multiple QI projects that have lead to an interest in increasing physician guideline adherence. He is also interested in patient engagement and incentives, specifically for those recovering from surgery. Ian plans to apply into Urology during his final year of medical school.
